I am

In addition to having a Bachelor of Science degree in digital media from East Tennessee State University, I am also a creative in the field of digital media. A little community in North Carolina was where I spent my childhood. One of the things that has helped me grow my enthusiasm for seeing everything around me as magnificent gems is the fact that I have had the privilege of living in both mountain and coastal sections of State of North Carolina.

I recall being entranced by everything from smelly pigs to crowing roosters to fresh eggs, vibrant trees, sweet-smelling flowers, and tasty fruits and veggies when I was a child growing up on a farm. To give just a few examples, I remember being mesmerized by all of these things. For me, each day was a new and exciting creative journey. It would not be difficult to transform a simple yard endeavor into a front yard museum. The mud pies I made using organic eggs turned out to be marvels. Woven sculptures were created out of tree limbs. Rocks, pinecones, feathers, and other materials that were discovered were repurposed into one-of-a-kind works during the process. A flood of creativity was sparked by these commonplace riches, and it continues to flow with them now.

It is my firm conviction that when the God of heaven created the earth, He extended an open invitation to us to experience daily treasures as a way of remembering the goodness that he has bestowed upon us. The result of this is that I have developed a way of living that creatively appreciates the beauty of the things that are found in everyday life. To this day, as I continue on my path to create it forward, I frequently discover inspiration in the most unexpected places. As a matter of course, I pick up my camera, and beyond the lens, there is a creative moment taking place that captivates the beauty that is currently there. There is always a celebration within that shines with pure creativity, whether it be a walk in the park, a stroll on the beach, trekking in the mountains, cooking, or just hanging out in my backyard. And this celebration can be found in any of these activities. It is a source of motivation for me to record the most innovative moments. The majority of the time, I am able to capture simple things as well as items that are otherwise considered to be garbage. My aim is that when the value discovered within is combined with flair, it will serve as a source of motivation for other people.
